For a while now, I've been feeling unsatisfied with the way I run my Patreon.

I feel like I'm not doing a very good job. My Patreon feels... unfocused, sloppy, and worst of all, inconsistent. This is unacceptable to me. I always want to make the best possible things I can for all of you. You are all so kind to me, and show me so much support and love. I want to properly earn that support by making the best possible content I can for each and every one of you. Right now, I do not feel like I am doing that.

I think I've managed to narrow down the core issue my Patreon has: Focus.

When I first made this Patreon, my idea was to make it as broad as possible. I did this so that I could work on bigger projects in smaller bits, one month at a time. It sort of worked, but not nearly as well as I would have liked to. The pace was simply FAR too slow, and not only that, but the content I was putting out every month was nowhere near as substantial as I wanted it to be. For example, in the many months my Patreon has been active, I've only finished 3 wallpapers for a pack of at least 10, and some other ideas just dropped off the face of the earth.

I feel the way I've been doing things is unacceptable, and change is necessary.

So starting next month in February, I will be shifting my Patreon to be game development focused.

My ultimate goal in life is to be a game designer for a living. It's been my dream ever sense I was young. In the past few years, I've utterly failed to pursue that goal, other than occasionally poking and prodding at prototypes. I refuse to waste any more time. This year is the year things get done. This year, I'm actually going to finish something.
Those of you that have been following my Patreon will know that I've been working on a game called "Sym's Sandwiches." Set in Symbol's Retale universe, Sym's Sandwiches is a simple little game about making sandwiches for cuties from the Retale games. The game is simple: Make what the customers want, and get paid! Getting money will allow you to upgrade your sandwich shop, and unlock more cuties! But be careful, messing up will make a vore happen.

The game has been in development for a while, I've been poking at it whenever I can. I really love the idea, something about it just clicks with me perfectly and I adore it. The issue is I've been unable to focus on it. With my focus pulled in so many directions, I can't get it done. I want to get it and my other game ideas finished. I can't be a game developer if I'm not developing games.

With the upcoming changes to my Patreon, I'll actually be able to finish "Sym's Sandwiches" and many other game ideas I have. I want to make games for a living, it's what I've always wanted. I think it's time I push myself hard to complete that goal.

Now I am making this journal to let you all know what's going on, but also, most importantly, to get your feedback. I need to know your thoughts on this, ESPECIALLY if you're a Patron. If you have any suggestions for tiers, rewards, perks, or anything like that, PLEASE let me know. Let me know what you want to see from me, I can't make it unless you tell me. I'm already setting up a discord server, so that could be roped in with the rewards as well. Please tell me ANYTHING that comes to mind about this, this is a BIG change and I absolutely need to know what you think.

I'm doing this because I want to make better content for all of you, and so that I can actually feel like I'm not a failure for once in my life.
