Am I wasting my time reporting them? Has Weasyl been abandoned? I really like the set up here and I'd hate to go back fully to DA or FA.
Edit: If Weasyl is coming to a slow terrible end are there any other sites y'all use?

Yikes. I'd volunteer but I don't know beans about being a mod. Also I do most of my computing from my phone. 😅

Well apparently it's not actually dead, there are staff and they're working the problem, but they are also asking for new volunteers due to other staff leaving.

Is Weasyl dying? Damn. I'm really looking for somewhere to jump ship to with DA's newest change.

This is from Nov last year. The admin have made announcements since then and the spam bots are almost non-existent. It's not as active as FA but it's not dead lol
DA's changes were... not good
I've been getting moderate engagement on Pillowfort with groups (certainly more than tumblr nowadays). Idk how the furry community is there tho

As of right now there are no active moderators; they all quit and the site admin doesn't log on that often so...I'd say it's pretty much abandoned.
It sucks; this place was great.
