Hi I saw your picture, I noticed that __ was a bit off and it affected the anatomy/pose/feel of the picture, perhaps moving __ a bit to the left/right could fix it?

yeah, this is one reason I don't seek critiques here or on DA. People don't know the difference between helpful advice and just saying negative things and being demanding.

sadly, people just need to figure out the most constructive way to be upsetting basically

NULL indeed. I don't usually get too upset at critiques on my work unless they're implying I should redraw the image because its so bad in which case they can go fuck themselves. If its just something small that's off I'll usually try to fix it.

I take it into account, if its nothing huge I touch it up, if like you say it's an image altering fault I just try harder on the next image

Yeah, I agree, too many people critique in the wrong sense.
I mean, it's about giving feedback, but not at the expense of blasting the artist.
To me, it's about trying to help make the artist improve, not tearing them down over mistakes. No one is perfect and people need to stop and realize that.
