END OF SEASON RETIREMENTS
Including a special announcement!

WORLDWIDE, AUGUST 18 - Effective as of the end of Season 7, the following players and/or their agents (noted if this is the case) are retiring from the FHL:

Akamai Ikaika, GM SLC (Stepping down as GM, remaining as player)
Antero Ansikorpi, D (Agent retiring)
Grey Ash, LW (Agent retiring)
William Swiftfoot, F (Player retiring, new rookie for Season 8)
Zidders Silver-Roo, C (Agent retiring)

And now for a couple of GM announcements.

Firstly, we would like to announce that Tozan Southerpacks has been named GM of HMW effective immediately.

Additionally, we would like to announce that Akamai has decided to step down as GM of SLC, effective as of the end of the Season 7 Playoffs. He will continue to be a player and may assist in operation of the league from time to time. He would also like to announce his replacement. Please find a short statement from him below:

“After nearly 5 years of involvement in the league it is time for me to step down as GM of SLC. It has been a long, fun and sometimes painful road, but I am grateful for my time here. I am proud of what this league has become over the years and look forward to seeing it continue to grow and prosper. I will still be around as a player and possibly doing some simming. To all the players and friends that have made my time as GM so successful, thank you!

Also I would like to formally name the successor in former bash brother Qaja Kebauet, who has agreed to be the new GM of SLC.” - Akamai
