Remember when I first joined here and I said this was where I was putting my story Uncanny Hosts? Remember when that ended up being pushed back until well, now? Yeah, I do too. Shameful really. But I'm finally starting to get the chapters reviewed (again) and they will slowly start to trickle in, and I will also be working on entirely new chapters once the Prologue and the eleven I've already wrote are submitted. I'll probably try to aim for one chapter a week, or more if I'm feeling especially productive and the thorough proofreading goes quickly.

A brief synopsis of the story for those wondering: It is an urban fantasy set in a version of Faerie in which the protagonist, a unicorn-like humanoid crime lord named Lady Absinthe attempts to get her underworld empire back in some semblance of order. Barghests, night spirits, dream imagery, romance and violence! It's good stuff. I hope you guys enjoy it! The Prologue and possibly even the first chapter will be submitted tonight.
