This morning an idea suddenly hit me from out of nowhere.
Before my health became too bad I had my own at-home business where I sold my wares online. I did not sell my paintings but more of my crafts/domestic arts and a few sculptures. Over a year ago I had to give it up due to health issues. The only thing left which I am physically capable of doing is painting.
My son just got married this past October and his wife is an amazing artist. My ex-husband mentioned to me on Christmas Day that he hopes that she does something with it to earn money. This morning I was thinking that my daughter-in-law and I should start a business together using our artistic abilities. Maybe something like designing our own greeting cards or something like that.
I am going to lunch with my son and daughter-in-law tomorrow. I think I might speak with them about it then.

Sounds like an excellent idea. One of my old art teachers from high school works part time from home on commission. She had a tumor removed some years ago and had sort of waxing-and-waning health ever since. She's not strapped for cash by any means but hates sitting idle too long, so she tries to make the best use of her time and skills by devoting it to art.
