I have talked vaguely about this in my streams but now I want to start this discussion. When I started this Patreon I had timed out how long each reward took to make and set the prices based on that. The intent was so that if ALL I did each month was Patreon images then I was making enough to support myself. There is one issue that has arisen. I spend way more time on the images than I did when I started. I spent a lot of my time working on improving the art, and that has led it to simply take longer. And I am too stubborn to lower the quality of work by rushing it. But right now I only have time in the month to open one set of commissions and that is really frustrating.

So we have a few options to help and I need your ideas and opinions on them. I don't plan on implementing anything until either January or February so you are not in any major rush. Christmas is still the same as it was before I swear!

1) "Simplify" the higher tiers. The fullbody option gets limited to only a flat colored image without the option to give it a background. The art slave tier would be hard limited to 3 hours of the stream. This really doesn't help a huge amount as there are only a couple people with the fullbody tier anyways. And it kinda nerfs the quality of the "better" thing on the list.

2) Remove the "and all tiers below this one" from each reward. Wallpapers would still be $5 and above however since that isn't anything extra per person to make. Keeps the quality of each piece and still everything is less than my commission prices. I'll have to lower the Art Slave tier to be $100 instead to help make up for that tier itself. However It would still be a good price. The downside to this is that is lowers the total output of the Patreon, but each person still gets an artwork out of the deal.

3) Just eat it and speed through them all OR raise the prices. This is the one I want to do the least, but its an option on the table and should be discussed as well. I don't want to lower the quality of the work if I can avoid it. I would have to recalculate how long everything takes me to do in order to raise the prices. But this would allow me to make a "new" tier in the new <$10 spot that might be a fun alternative. Something like a lines a month, a silly sketch session, or a YCH spot for people to throw characters at if they want to. There are lots of ideas but it would have to be something simpler than outright a new piece of art for the people on the tier. The other downside to this option is that it will also force everyone off of their current tier so I can rework their prices. So you would all have to repledge.

4) Just delete the Patreon, screw it all. BURN IT TO THE GROUND IN FIRE.
