Stumblingcat: So yeah, we downgraded from a 50 mb connection to a 20, because we're too far away from the station to ever get anything over 20 anyway (which they knew and sold us the 50 anyway) it took 12+ hours to get our new connection and it's incredibly unstable.

Tele2 everybody.

You might think they're cheap, you might think you'll get what you pay for, but you'll get less.

Unless you count grief, then you'll get more than your fill.

They have accrued a track record of shit behavior with us, including but not limited too cutting off Hiryu's cellphone while he was abroad for work because he had paid his bills ahead and they couldn't deduct €0,-. Not just once, but every month for the better part of a year. Refusing to resend mobile internet hardware which was lost in the mail for 2 months. Blamed the phone company whose network they use for a 2 week long internet outage when it was Tele2's fault. Making technician appointments I had to come home for from abroad and then not showing up. Trying to bill us for hundreds of Euros for Ryu using his mobile internet for work, AFTER they had given him permission to go over his limit without having to pay for the excess usage because it was their fault we had no internet. And the attitude of their helpdesk is far more condescending and snide even when you're polite and can/do follow instructions and IT'S THEIR BLOODY FAULT YOUR SHIT IS NOT WORKING!

I have had some shitty interaction with companies (including Fossil, which when I sent my watch in to have a battery replaced, broke my watch and sent it back broken because they didn't have parts to repair it) but Tele2 is by far the worst I have ever attempted to conduct business with, and I will be switching my cellphone contract and our internet away from them ASAP.

Tele2, avoid it.
