This movie has been advertised as Die Hard meets Towering Inferno. I hadn't seen Towering Inferno (I should), but I had seen Die Hard many times. Die Hard is what I consider to be the greatest action movie of all time. So good that there had been many clones and rip offs of that movie. Movies such as Speed, Under Siege, Passenger 57, Sudden Death, Olympus has Fallen, White House Down, Air Force One, etc. So, when you say that, of course I'll go see it. I'm always good for a Die Hard clone.

But, this movie was a disappointment. It's not terrible, but it's not good either. It's just meh. As an action movie, it's meh. The characters are meh, the story is meh, although some of the action scenes did have some edge of your seat kind of moments. Especially if it takes places on the side of the extremely tall building. Yeah, definitely not worth your hard earned money to watch it. A rental at best.

If you like a Die Hard clone or rip off. Either see this one at a matinee or rent it when it's available.
