END OF SEASON RETIREMENTS
Including a special announcement!

WORLDWIDE, JUNE 22 - Effective as of the end of Season 6, the following players and/or their agents (noted if this is the case) are retiring from the FHL:

Beau Regards, G & GM HMW (Agent retiring)
Bojan Baric, F (Player retiring, new player incoming)
Cassandrus Blackclaw, D (Agent retiring)
Paskhowl, GM VCT (Stepping down as GM, remaining as player)
Raz Yoshi, G (Agent retiring)

Additionally, we would like to announce that Akamai has decided to step down as Commissioner, but he will continue to be the GM of SLC. Please find a short statement from him below:

“I would like to thank the League and Commission for allowing me to contribute my time and energy to it as a Commissioner. Through my time and with the help of others on the Commission we have made many improvements that resulted in the FHL becoming more competitive overall (yes it’s not perfect), we’ve grown to now include 18 teams, 176 skaters, and 23 goalies. I know that there have been times of disagreement but every decision made with the other Commissioners has been in an attempt to better the league. My stepping down is, in a way, another attempt at that, because it moves the number of Commissioners back to an odd number to alleviate potential ties. I place my faith in the remaining Commissioners to continue forward in making the League better. In stepping down however, I do not intend to stop contributing. In fact, I look forward to continuing to contribute to the success of the league just without the role of Commissioner. Thank you!” - Akamai
