I am a big fan of Jurassic Park. I read the book and seen the movie many times. It's one of my top favorites of all time and I do think it's one of Spielberg's best. Truly a marvel of a film. I do get that the sequels are not as great as the original, but I do enjoy them for what they are. I did loved The Lost World and I also read the book as well. Granted, the book is a bit better, but the movie was still a ton of fun. Jurassic Park 3 was definitely the weakest of the franchise, but I did enjoyed some of the scenes in there. Jurassic World was a better sequel and I thought it was a lot of fun.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a mix of The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3. If you seen the trailers of this movie, you would know the entire plot of it already. They go to the island to rescue the dinosaurs and they end up at some mansion in the mountains as they sell the dinosaurs to the highest bidders and then another genetically engineered dinosaur was let loose. Pretty much it. There is a sequel bait at the end as well.

I actually enjoyed it. Not as much as the first one, but I did liked how it was directed. Almost like a horror movie. It does have some dumb moments, but it also have some good moments as well. So, this is on the level of The Lost World and Jurassic Park 3 in one movie.

Overall, if you're a fan of Jurassic World, you might like Fallen Kingdom a little bit. If you're a Jurassic Park purist, to put it lightly. You would NOT like this movie at all.
