Hey folks,

been some time since i had one of these journals, and with journals i easily forget that people over here might be interested in them as well... sorry...

As some might have noticed i closed my commission a few weeks ago, i had a seriously great run with them since the beginning of the year and it has been a truly humbling experience to see that people would go out of their way to get a piece of artwork from me, especially given the fact that back then i still was unknown quantity when it comes to commissions and the first few who ordered a commission must have had quite the balls given that my prices really aren't on the cheap end of the furry fandom. So a very big thank you to all of them for being a big part of what makes it possible for me to live off of that hobby made into a career.

And while we are at it also a very big shoutout to just everybody who watches me, you folks are absolutely amazing and offer such a great incentive to try and push further with every piece of artwork. I don't know where i would have been right now without all of you, but wherever it might have been, it would definately not be as good of a place as i am in now in terms of my artwork. And while i am not the most talkative even at the best of times i really do appreciate it a great deal.

But now on to what i actually wanted to talk about, the next few weeks. I decided to take several weeks off of commission work to be able to intensify my studies again, and when i ran commissions it was rather hard for me to get myself to actually study because "hey you could as well do that commission you are being paid for." And without any commissions to creep up it will be a lot easier for me to sit down and do those studies.

I don't know if that will mean a total absence of content from me over that time or not, i at least hope not and will try my best to get something together to show. Maybe a sketch compilation every week, or just some more refined studies when they occur, or maybe i get to actually finishing stuff in that time. Like i said however, i am absolutely not sure how or if there will be anything, so to be safe rather expect nothing at all, that way nobody will be disappointed :P

And hopefully that phase will be a somewhat bigger step forward again, because i feel my progress stagnated a bit over the last few months because i simply cannot test around as much with commission as i can do with personal work for obvious reasons.
