When I heard there was an episode on the show Lucifer that has furries in it. I didn't believe it at first, but then I saw clips and pictures of it, I decided to see it for myself. Because once you heard that a show has an episode that has furries in it, you go see it. Because you just don't know if it's in a positive light or in a negative light. And 5 times out of 10, it's usually negative.

After seeing the episode, I have to say it's pretty positive. In a comedic way. The episode itself is about the cop character and a CSI agent trying to solve a murder of a life coach. And there's a ghost in there for some reason. Which is weird, but considering the entire series has the devil in it. So, why not? shrugs Anyways, as they investigate, they found a closet and inside appears to be a fursuit. Turns out the victim is a furry as well. And as they looked more in the house, they overheard on a voicemail that somebody wants to get her for stealing Willy. Thinking it's a love triangle gone bad, the cop character decided to go undercover dressed in a fursuit to a furry convention. When they showed the furry convention, they showed actual fursuits in it. Fursuits that I recognize and can tell they are authentic. Not the typical cheap animal costumes you find in a local costume store. Actual fursuits. I was really surprised. I think they probably filmed it at an actual convention and castcall actual furries in the episode. I was impressed.

Like I said earlier, it was pretty positive, but in a comedic way. There was a part where the undercover cop came up to one dressed in a dolphin costume and the guy squeaked like an actual dolphin and squirted water on her. That was my "ugh" moment, but it wasn't bad. Other than one part, most of it was pretty positive.

I'm glad I watched it. It seems the creators and the writers handled the furry subject pretty well and respectful. Though, they still showed that it's weird, but good weird. Like going to a comic book convention. I wonder what other show will feature an episode that has furries in it.

Best way: Big Bang Theory. Worst way: Law & Order: SVU.
