When I first heard of a Deadpool sequel, my first thought was it'll be exactly like the first movie except more of the same. And after seeing this movie last weekend. It was.

Not that it was a bad movie. It was a very enjoyable movie and I had a blast. Much like the first one. But, I'm not a big Deadpool fan. I like the idea of him, but he's not a comic book character I want to read or even get excited over. There's a reason for him to exist and that's to troll typical comic book tropes. And that's what this movie is. It's kind of a anti-superhero movie movie. It takes on typical tropes and national lampoons them. There were a few surprises in the movie I enjoyed a lot and I did laughed out loud at some of the jokes.

Overall, this movie was a fun ride much like the first one. It's one of those movies where you turn your brain off for two hours and enjoy the ride. Again like the first one. If you're a huge fan of Deadpool, you will love this movie. If you're tired of typical superhero movies. you'll like this movie as well.
