The first quarter of 2018 is behind us now, but it was a very productive 3 months since my last update and I have made good progress in catching on pages for the Avania comic and it looks like I may just finish drawing the third issue before my target of July 4th! I will announce a specific launch date for the webcomic as work continues, and submit the first issue to comixology once most of those pages have been posted. (I would also love to do a print run of physical copies, so please let me know if you are interested in buying one!)

For the webcomic version of Avania, I would love to make a big splash and put up a whole chapter to start, but I am currently inclined toward sticking with a 1 page-per-week schedule; as I work a day job, I cannot produce finished pages all that quickly and I want to ensure I'm only releasing high quality content. However, with several years of work on Avania under my belt at this point, I am pretty confident I will be able to keep pace with no interruptions for at least a couple of years, at which point there will be a natural rest spot in the story where I may have to build up a buffer again (assuming I am still working full-time elsewhere, that is.)

Also, if you enjoy my sketch artwork, you will soon be in for a treat; I have also been amassing a number of new Avania sketches to celebrate Spring and the eventual triumphant return of warmer weather! I'll be posting these on my tumblr and Instagram first, so if you want to see new art right away, feel free to follow me there.
