Unfortunately I have found less and less reason to buy into the whole "most accepting/tolerant/open/compassionate community in the world" hype. And it seems to me the more "progressive" it gets, the more racist, sexist, ableist, elitist, and just all around douchey it gets. Like it use to be I didn't want to "come out" as a furry to non-furries back in the day because CSI and the like made it sound like we're all sexual miscreants. These days I don't want people to know I'm furry because I don't want them thinking I'm some kind of thin-skinned SJW twat-waffle who'll bite their head off, call them a Nazi, and sue them for hate crimes over eating a fucking McNugget or some other such stupidity.

For a community that claims to be so understanding of mental and emotional health issues far too few are actually able to recognize said issues and even fewer seem to give a damn about trying to help. Guess all I can say is try to keep your chin up the best you can and keep on trying. Keep fighting. Keep climbing. Keep on keeping on. And all those other cliches that sound great but probably don't mean anything to anyone anymore but the thought is still there. I want to see you grow. I want to see you pulling yourself up, becoming whole again. It CAN be done, and I firmly believe you are able to do it.
