People don't like how choosing different dialogue leads to the same outcome yet want to end up in outcomes that entirely break the game. They hate on Fallout 4 because you're always the parent looking for their son and say you could RP better like being a badguy.

In Skyrim you could spend all your life fucking around with the law, except it's a dead end. You're literally playing the game to increase stats, then get them lowered because jail, and gain a "high score" bounty that makes everyone hate you until someone finally kills you.

Illusion of choice.

In Skyrim you can blot out the sun on the vampire's side. You still have to fight "badguys".

People want these edgy rebellious roles that literally go nowhere.

Being a vampire goes nowhere. Do you want to see humanity enslaved to the vampires, or do you want to continue the story and fight Lord Harkon and then Miraak?

If people want their edgy fantasies so bad then just use mods. These games are about being a GOODGUY on a quest to SAVE the world. If you want to destroy the world so bad then just use the ini tweak where everyone can die and mod in killable children. Now you can break every quest like a retard and be left with respawning REAL ENEMIES in a dead world that somehow always respawns the guards. Fucking retarded...

You can steal everyone's shit, you can join an evil faction, but eventually you're going nowhere.

And people can try their damndest to fund their YouTube channels (lol) in saying "THE DARK BROTHERHOOD ISN'T ALL THAT BAD HURR" or "THE THIEVES GUILD ISN'T ALL THAT BAD DURR" except you're RPing as a disreputable cunt who ruins lives instead of saving the world from the REAL threats.
