Nintendo Switch sales, a rumored Direct webisode and a newcomer title? by BlazRtheDragon

Welcome to the Daily Dragon Tab. I'm BlazR, your #1 official host within this post, bringing you the latest news and discussions, as well as upcoming info, events, media and other content based beyond the real world and anywhere else in between!

What's happening, daily draggies?! It's BlazR the Dragon, back for more awesome news. Well, sort of, because the weather outside had become WAY too frightful for me to withstand the snow. Luckily, I am temporarily staying at a neat looking fancy house within the next few months, so by the time I make it back, I'll have Dera soon take control of the Daily Dragon Tab. So right now, let's get into the good stuff!

Recently, the Nintendo Switch was met with over millions of praise and popularity, because of its design and the ability to take it with you on the go. Nintendo of America via Twitter has stated an interesting message:

Within 10 months, the Nintendo Switch has become the fastest-selling video game system of all time in the US!

What does this mean, you ask? Well, lemme tell you; it was worth an instant cure. And speaking of "cure", the Switch had outsold the Wii console (with 101.63 million units sold); the PlayStation 2 (with 155 million units sold; lasting 13 years of popularity) and the Wii U (with just 13 million). And what do you know? Thanks to the twin set of the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or just the legend of rolf son of the shepherd and Super Mario Odyssey, super KING odyssey it actually saved Nintendo from a nine year long downward spiral since the Nintendo GameCube's activity. Let's have all our paws and claws crossed for King K. Rool to FINALLY return to the world of Nintendo after that casual nightmare we had to suffer through.

Now we do understand there had been some rumors a Nintendo Direct may be in the works for this month. Everyone's doing it, so let's see if I have some speculation on my head:

A. More information about Nintendo Switch Online
B. Bring Yo-Kai Watch 3 to the Western world (for Nintendo 3DS only)
C. Nintendo Switch rewards for My Nintendo users
D. Port Splatoon 1 for the Switch (NO WII U'S MENTION / MOTION CONTROLS ALLOWED)
E. Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine as a VC bundle gift, maybe? (Would love to see that)
F. Mention a new Donkey Kong Country game for the Nintendo Switch that should soon be in the works with K. Rool involved

And finally, if The Dragon's Trap and the Switch version of Yooka-Laylee couldn't get any better, then you freaking fricks may wanna consider holding your breath for so long. Wait; don't hold your breath. It's risky. What I'm trying to actually say is that Rivals of Aether may SOON be coming to the Nintendo Switch! Well, isn't that a darn surprise?

Announced recently by Dan Fornace, the game's creator, best known for his other work Super Smash Land, there was a poll off of Twitter to see if Rivals of Aether would soon handle the Switch's handheld capabilities. And just like that, it worked! From then on, he went with this to say:

Fornace: "Finally in 2018, we will be looking to bring Rivals of Aether to more platforms. These won’t be happening until we have completed the Definitive Edition as that is the version we plan to bring to consoles. Right now we are prioritizing the Nintendo Switch as we are currently looking into developers who can help us port the game out of Game Maker Studio so we can release on the Switch."

Now, what do you guys think of the Nintendo Switch sales? Did you enjoyed the console so much? Which mode have YOU enjoyed playing as? What kind of predictions have you got for me unless a Direct is announced by then? Are you surprised to see that Rivals of Aether is about to make it or break it on the Switch console? Lemme know what you guys think in the comment section down BELOW, and I'll check 'em out!

That's all I have for today. Until next time, see ya later! :D

And if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go and grab myself a cup of hot chocolate. Wouldn't want the cold to knock me down twice!
