In today's atmosphere, you can't feasibly care about the things surrounding popular notice, and stay relatively sane.

You're either a slouch, or a moral crusader loved by some and hated by others for reasons that are most likely cringeworthy.

I don't care anymore.

There are issues I would like to see remedied, but I am not one in enough power to bring about that change. Failing health, personal issues, and backlogged responsibilities all pool into that I am incapable of accomplishing anything that would benefit a broad range of people. I can only offer kind words.

I'm not going to get myself killed, and I'm not going to wrack my brain over the things that are transpiring. As selfish as it easily comes off concerning others, I just don't have the capacity to care.

I'm going to, quote, "go numb". "Go cold", go unwary - however one would say that, and by whatever definition should carry it.

I am in pain every day, in more ways than one, and I don't need anymore of it......
