Second Christmas step done (can't thank him enough) by GuzzleMuzzle

I should only be getting an exact two presents this year, unless there's money left over for Steam purchases, and the second of three steps towards the greatest of those presents - and literally the greatest present I've ever received in my 35 years living (materialism-wise) - is done.

I should be getting a high powered gaming laptop with a gtx 1060 and an i7-7700HQ processor in it (barebones, as I have the necessary requirements that aren't included), and an NVME M.2 solid state drive that has 3.2GB sequential read speed, and 1.5GB sequential write speed. This is going to be an amazing Christmas, and none of it would be possible without a great foreign friend I made over the past year. Well, I'm planning on buying the NVME SSD myself.

Tonight is an uneventful night like most others. Most exciting happenings were basically me enjoying Elder Scrolls Legends, and also, retro Capcom games of the compilation title called "Capcom Classics Reloaded" for PSP (on a physical PSP). Just completed Knights of the Round with King Arthur. :3

I want to indulge myself with the various PC games I own, but I'm reluctant to do so on that the fidelity of this machine isn't as great as it could be. I can't play games like Diablo 3, Condemned: Criminal Origins, and Skyrim somewhat without overheating, and putting that strain on my CPU is worrying.

I know this is nothing but bragging, but I am too excited. Thanks to someone's help, I am going to end up with a great machine for all manner of video game activity, and I cannot thank him enough. This is going to be amazing.

I know that for a lot of you who regularly do extensive video editing, you may already have high powered computers. I don't know how that factors into gaming capability though.

I can't wait... <3
