Daily Dragon Tab Gaming Roundup! by BlazRtheDragon

Guaps: Greetings, daily draggies! My name's Guaps the Lugia...

RockN: And I'm RockN the Ho-oh. Welcome to another new episode of the Daily Dragon Tab.

Guaps: November may be over for us, but that doesn't at all mean the holidays can be beat! So let's go over to a recap as to what we've learned early in the week. Coming in at #1, we finally received word from Playtonic Games that Yooka Laylee is coming to the Nintendo Switch. In it, players can explore the colorful worlds and rescue all the pagies from the evil Capital B., all while created and done by the same team who brought you Banjo-Kazooie and Conker, as well as being the whole developer of Donkey Kong Country franchise. The game is currently published by WORMS mastermind, TEAM17, and is set to be released on the Nintendo Switch's eShop on the 14th December, exactly one day before BlazR turns 24 of this year. Pre-reservations for Yooka Laylee will be available on the eShop by Thursday, so act fast!

RockN: At #2, we've got a bright new light that's shining around us that the Christmas themed event is on. Taking place over at Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, your job is to accept requests and gather up as many candy canes as possible to craft Christmas themed decorations. Oh, excuse me. I meant, "Toy Day" decorations. This event will last till the 24th December, so better collect them all before they're gone! Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is available for download on the iOS and Android devices via Google Play and the iTunes store.

Guaps: At #3, the Game Awards is about to happen this Thursday night at *5:30 PM PST for an exciting event that will involve two highly anticipated Nintendo Switch titles (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey) competing against each other to see who will become 2017's gaming of the year. Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the show will fully be presented by post industry icon, Hideo Kojima, who had been robbed by both Hideki Hayakawa and Konami Digital Entertainment for not showing up at the 2015 Game Awards. Expect a special surprise to take place beyond the Death Stranding community. Which Game of the Year Nominee did you pick besides Breath of the Wild and / or Odyssey? Are you planning to live tweet or react to the full show? Will there other be surprises in store? Leave down a response in the comment section.

RockN: At #4, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild broadcast will be live on the 12th December at 9 PM JST. Those who have already purchased both Breath of the Wild (Physical / Digital) and a Nintendo Switch console are going to enjoy a full fledged live stream that will be hosted by two big Zelda fans named Ichiro Mizuki and Ruriko Aoki. They will only be talking about the game while playing it, so details about the Championships' Ballad may be hinted at a later time. Expect Kass to make an appearance!

Guaps: And finally, at #5, we've dugged up a gem that deserves to be more powerful and better than Mighty No. 9, because Mega Man 11 is set to be released on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, XBOX ONE X and Steam in 2018! Exactly eight years, following the release of Mega Man 10, the game follows the story of Mega Man as he attempts to tackle against more Robot Masters in hopes of seeking out the return of Dr. Wily, who holds a lot more something more stronger than him. This will be the first Mega Man game without Keiji Inafune, who has been criticized and controversial about his take on Mighty No. 9, which the game failed, and will be the first Mega Man game to depart from the NES era and into a breathtaking new style, complete with hand drawn 2D animation and 3D computer animated technology. Again, Mega Man 11 will be launching on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, XBOX ONE X and Steam in late 2018. Be sure to expect any appearance of Mega Man 11 info to take place via a Nintendo Direct webisode!

(*Due to the Daylight Saving Times, it is shifted to one more hour. We apologize in advance for the irritation.)

RockN: And that's gonna wrap up today's special episode of the Daily Dragon Tab. We hope you-- Oh! Ha-ha. I think Scarfy wants to say something. What's that? Oh, yeah! Forgive my lack of memorization, but we have good news. We've received a contact call from BlazR that his alter ego has finally made the Switch! Consider it a birthday present, if you may. Again, we hope you've enjoyed the episode, and we'll see you next time. This is RockN the blubbery Ho-oh...

Guaps: And Guaps the karate chopping, sumo wrestling rotund Lugia, signing out.
