Assassination attempt on Obama has hit the news today...

Problem is, this woman, who mailed IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) to Obama, is one of many crazy people wanting to this shit, and is likely only one nutcase we know of.
This woman did it because she deemed she was saving President Trump's life from the Barrak Obama, who she called a traitor, false ex-president, and a Nigerian Muslim.
This woman is one of hundreds of millions of crazy Donald Trump cultists who worship Trump, and believe Alex Jones and Steve Bannon's crazy conspiracy theories.
Apparently, she is currently in custody, but what happens from here with her could be anything, much like with all other lunatics that seek to perform murder and assassinations.

Problems with this, Trump, Jones, and Bannon will likely glorify her as an American Patriot, call her attempt heroic and glorious, and treat her like a champion of good.
This is a major issue, we know the KuKluxKlan and NeoNazis had been supporting, embracing, and encouraging these acts, and Trump, Jones, and Bannon have been embracing this mindset. That these three glorify what are terrorists in murder and assassination, but foreign, and here in the USA. Now that it happened, of all things, it is not outright taken as a huge issue and atrocity, and is a mild issue, shows the extent of this evil and its likelihood to continue.

How many more attempts to murder/assassinate government officials past and currently serving must occur before our nation accepts that this is unacceptable? That our President Trump must not support it? That Jones and Bannon need be condemned for inciting it?

That I am forbidden by FurAffinity staff to even make journals like this on FA because it is harassment and slander against people probably shows that this is a rampant problem in the furry fandom. Many of our fellow furries support violence and killing, and entire sections of the fandom are glorifying the KKK and NeoNazis. The complete lack of opposing it and enforcing rules forbidding such people from being a part of the fandom and being staff members of communities is obvious. For example, FA has a rule that forbids this stuff made on my birthday this year, and yet I am demonized by FA staff for wanting it to be enforced.

I must also mention that SoFurry also refuses to enforce this rule, which has existed far longer on SF, on its staff, claiming that their staff are incapable of prejudice, racism, promoting violence, and as thus are immune from being reported, and anyone who reports SoFurry staff violates their most important CodeOfConduct rule, never disrespect staff, which is punished by outright ban without permission for appeals.
