Wow. I'm actually surprised. I mean, I'm still feeling my way around blindly and have a lot more to do before my first book release is ready (though I am close!), and must take a few more steps forward this weekend to that effect, but when I was checking my social media last night the number of patrons had gone from 0 to 1.

I had thought about who my first patron would be, if I'd know them, what I might do when it happened, and I figured it would be for $1 or something.

When I saw it was for the max tier I currently have my jaw hit the floor. I was shocked. I don't know if they've seen my work before or not, but thank you!

WOW. I'm just blown away.

Since I originally wrote this, I seem to have picked up two more. I really am surprised, but in a small way relieved. Now to make it worth it...
