I'm Back by IridescenceStudios

I'm sure some of you have noticed I've been pretty absent as of late. I have been stuck in my own head a lot as well as trying to solve some problems with some of my plots which threw me out of my routine, and when I don't have a path forward it inevitably results in a serious depression, which hit me pretty hard.

I've not been idle these past four weeks, I've worked out my plans for the second Blue Moon, Sunset's Edge, Journeys, and the next two Iridescence novels. I'm also strongly considering an XCOM inspired idea since I know I'll never write that fanfic any other way, which would mean somewhat of a shift in story since I don't want to do what they did but they have inspired me, much in the way Fallout gave indirect birth to Sunset's Edge.

The thing is, with me, when I get into a tough spot I shut down. Maybe it's not the best survival technique but it's all I've got.

In other news, some dental chaos is behind me as is some work uncertainty, which I'm sure did not help my mood, but I am ready to rock. Last night I did some writing and I not only nailed it, but finished early. I spent today editing some dialogue to line up better with my plans for book 3, and am fairly confident I've got a way forward now.

That said, now that I have somewhat of a plan, I don't know if I'll be able to keep to it moving forward but I plan to finish at least one chapter this month, a short story (ideally), and maybe some more video elements.

Announcements will be coming soon. With luck this will be the last slowdown.

I'm preparing a number of things and there are a few tasks I've yet to complete, but hopefully the long development cycle will be worth it.

For those interested, this week I will finish the heavy lifting on Blue Moon as I edit the final chapter and then give it a look over for any final issues, before I prepare to get it set to go.

It's going to be my first completed project for a few reasons, but I will miss my original intended target date of Halloween. That said, I still want at least four weeks to build up the hype and let's face it, I need the time. That said, get ready for a ride.
