The best month of the year is here at last! I think I'm not alone in feeling particularly energized when the weather starts to turn cooler and the holiday hype train begins. It also means the start of Inktober, where many artists try their hand at honing their inking techniques. I'll be participating this year by doing a minimum of one piece per week, with any more than that being a nice bonus. I'm following the #31yokais prompt list, which is a big list of some classic Japanese monsters. You can find the prompt list here, if you want to follow along, or just check out the hashtag and see what people are making. You can find info on a lot of these creatures on yokai.com, too!

I'll be uploading photos of the pieces to my Instagram, and later uploading full scans of them to all my galleries as normal. You can also see the scans early if you sub $1 to my Patreon. If you're doing Inktober, show me your stuff!

Other than that, things are going well all around. I've been pretty consistent with streaming every Thursday, and offering stream commissions that day more often than that, so I'm thinking of adding a second day per week to stream. It really helps keep me on track with work, so getting over my nervousness about it and adding more days has been a goal of mine.
