Hospital by Veyll

Yesterday evening my mother was rushed to the Emergency Room. Her and my Father were getting ready to pack up to head south for work when she fell over and showed signs of a seizure or stroke before my father quickly got an ambulance dispatched to them. I had gotten a text from him shortly I had gotten off from work and rushed across town to the hospital. She was cognitive and could remember her name and the date. She wasn't happy to be at the hospital at all (which was reassuring in it's own way, as odd as that sounds). I was the last to see her in the ER before an ICU room opened up and they were getting ready to move her. It was a long night of waiting and consoling family. She has a mass in the back of her head, on the right side. This may have been an issue that she had been dealing with ever since the surgery she had about 8 months ago to remove a cancerous tumor from her leg. We're not sure right now what caused it or what it is.
My sister tried to start drama in the waiting room while we were there, trying to turn the family against itself, which is a pitiful shame but thankfully everyone else was privy to it and didn't add any fuel to her rant and just let it be.
Since I had gotten to see my mother last I offered to go and get food and drinks for everyone that had stayed at in the waiting room. When I had gotten back the doctors had managed to get my mother to sleep and rest. The small amount of relief we all felt was palpable.

This morning I woke up to a text that sounds like she's slipped into a coma, and it is very unlikely that she will wake up from it. The doctors plan to do a CT and MRI scans today to determine what this mass is and plan to operate on friday.

Art might be slow for a bit. I'll do what I can for now but this is... an ordeal. I wanted to make sure everyone knew what is going on for the sake of it. I will most likely update this before and/or after the surgery depending on the news.
