Nintendo Switch proves its true hardcore prevalence! by BlazRtheDragon

Welcome to the Daily Dragon Tab. I'm BlazR, your #1 official host within this post, bringing you the latest news and discussions, as well as upcoming info, events, media and other content based beyond the real world and anywhere else in between!

After nine months have passed, it turns out that the Nintendo Switch has been... well, believe it or not, much positive. And what I mean by that is, it prevailed so easily. Now, if you're a Pokemon fan like I am, then take a gander at this! According to the Pokemon Company's CEO, Tsunekazu Ishihara, he explained the backstory that the subsidiary of his studio, Game Freak, would be involved with the main core development of a brand new Pokemon game. But that was before it! You see, he confessed that, back in August of last year, he announced that the Pokemon Company would develop games for the NX, which would later become the equivalent name of the Nintendo Switch, and not that silly looking Wii gimmick that not one would give a crud anymore these days. Even at that time, he thought that the system wouldn't sell a lot better than he'd expect. But then he felt that things had the tables turned when he commentated on this:

I told Nintendo that Switch wouldn't be a success before it went on sale, because I thought that in the age of the smartphone, no one would carry out a game console. It's obvious I was wrong. I came to realise the key to a successful game is quite simple: Software with absolute quality leads sales of hardware. Playing style can be flexible if the software is attractive enough. Currently, it's popular among the early adopters, but there needs to be one more step to attract a wider audience. I see more potential in Switch, but one shouldn't overestimate its potential. Unlike smartphones, the Switch is not a game device that assumes that there's constant network connectivity. So from our perspective, it's really not that different from DS or 3DS in terms of connectivity. With the Switch, we see it as a chance to create Pokemon that goes deeper and with a higher level of expression. As a result, that makes it an extremely important platform.

Sounds like somebody's been praising a lot of that these days, huh? With the worst selling console put down, hint hint october the company may also become a top notch co-developer of the series, making it more easier to look directly at the TV screen. Not that I'd care for home consoles, but in handheld, it's where it's at!

I wanna know what you fellow draggies think of this! Do you agree with what Ishihara had stated? Are you planning to confess that you're planning to give up on the Wii U and move on to make the "true" Switch? Are you also planning to keep the 3DS with you at all times, unless you feel like you're in the good mood for drawing? Make sure to leave a comment down, and I'll check 'em out! And, don't forget to drop on by later today for an epic peek of L.A. Noire's upcoming re-release in November and Target's very own "top-toy".

That's all I have for today. Until next time, see ya later! :D
