Fort Farragut in Beyond Skyrim: Bruma by ACDragon

I was surprised when I was exploring the big massive DLC sized mod Beyond Skyrim: Bruma in Skyrim Special Edition the other day. I noticed that even though the mod itself only technically covers County Bruma from TES4: Oblivion's province of Cyrodiil, that I could still travel well beyond the borders of County Bruma itself. I came very close to the Imperial City itself, but decided to tfc the rest of the way there via the console commands because that area is still under construction.

But one area that is almost finished is Fort Farragut, which I as the Listener for the Dark Brotherhood found interesting, to put it mildly. Beyond Skyrim: Bruma isn't a perfect recreation of Cyrodiil, but Fort Farragut really boggles my mind. In Oblivion, Fort Farragut was where Lucien Lachance, the Speaker for the Dark Brotherhood's Black Hand, made his home. In Oblivion, Fort Farragut was an abandoned ruin just east of Cheydinhal, a major city in the easternmost portion of Cyrodiil. But in Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, I found Fort Farragut roughly halfway between Bruma and the Imperial City. Bruma is in the northern part of Cyrodiil, close to the border with Skyrim. I found it extremely odd that the Empire had moved an entire fort and then built it up from a small tower to a rather large castle with a town situated around it.

But like I said, the area isn't finished, and Fort Farragut, while almost complete, is not yet discoverable (the only reason I knew it was Fort Farragut was that I saved my game while inside it and the save reads as "Fort Farragut"). So maybe there's something more to this than meets the eye. Maybe a new fort with a new name, maybe an asset that will be moved at a later date to the appropriate location. Who's to say. I simply found it interesting.
