I'm not a huge fan of this franchise. Mostly because I think the movies are just ok. They're not terrible, just ok. The first one was unique in its own way, but overall it's decent enough for the young kids to like it. The characters are interesting enough, though. The sequel was alright. Pretty much the same. Never a fan of the Minions, though. Especially when they had their own movie. Goes to show that some characters are good in small doses. Not as a main course. And considering I've seen them so far, it makes sense for me to see what the 3rd installment will bring.

And.....it's kind of the same movie. There are more subplots in this one than the last two, but less complicated. It's still filled with the same type of humor that young kids will like and with a few that the adults like. Though, I do love the villain they have in there. They put in a lot of 80s references in there and I like it. Though, I didn't noticed that the movie put in a few shots against Disney and Pixar. Not very subtle I should say.

Overall, if you're a fan of the Despicable Me movies. You'll like this one just as much as the rest.
