Transformers 5: The Last Knight - movie review by JohnStripedfur

I'm sure I'll get crap for it, but I actually like the Transformers movies. I know they're bad movies (with the exception of the first one), but they're enjoyable to watch. I only watch them for the transforming robot fights and that's it. They're my guilty pleasures. I know they're bad, but I can't help but enjoy them for what they are. Now for the latest movie of the infamous franchise. Will this one be the one that will finally be the good one that many hope for or will it be just another CGI action shlock?

IF I have to be honest, it's just another CGI action movie schlock. But, what do we expect? shrugs I mean come on. Nobody is expecting these movies to be award winners by any means. They're just action pleasures for the eyes. Something we just put in if we want to be entertained after a mundane or stressful day. I think the reason why all of these movies have such bad reviews from so many people is most likely with the "comedy". And I put that lightly. The comedy they have in those movies are like what a 10 year old would put in. Same goes with this one. It's pretty much the same movie. If put all five of them end to end. You won't see much of the difference.

If there's one good thing I can say about the movies is that each one explore the mythos of the Transformers universe. You learn more about them with each movie and why they have a huge connection to Earth. You kind of learn more with each movie they put out. Even though this is suppose to be the last one, I have a feeling that they will still make a sixth one.

Overall, if you enjoy the Transformers franchise, you will like this movie. If you're part of the movie going audience....well....I'm sure you already made up your mind about it before you go into it.
