A Giant Sized Nintendo Coverage! by BlazRtheDragon

This is Dera Mochimazzi, reporting live at the Daily Dragon Tab as a fully destined news anchored takeover.

E3 2017 is almost coming and in just a month and a half away from now. However, seems that the Big N have big plans of their own. BlazR already talked a lot about his alter ego's channel via his Quick Update debut, so let's get into something far more popular within the handheld community.

NEW Nintendo "2DS" XL coming in July!

You've heard it here, viewers. The NEW Nintendo 2DS XL is coming, and, much like a regular 2DS, it can still play 3DS and DS games. However, there's a catch! There's no 3D added to it, and you can even take the micro SD card out from the bottom slot, without having to use a Phillips #0 screwdriver. It retains the C Pad and the two Zed triggers, but also has a home button on the left, similar to the Nintendo Switch version. The price on the NEW Nintendo 2DS XL will be about $149.99 in the Americas, so if you plan to save that up for the holidays, give it to the teens and young adults! But not the kids who think it's just a plain Fisher Price toy like the Wii U is. In addition to the NEW Nintendo 2DS XL's launch release on the 28th July (with Australia on the 15th June; Japan on the 13th July and Europe of that said date along with the American region), Miitopia will be among the first standalone launch titles to be coincided. I wonder if I should let Butterball know about this? We've also reported that the console itself is a newborn baby between the NEW Nintendo 3DS XL and the Nintendo Switch, so that's a plus anyone would recommend fully.

Genyo Takeda retires

After 45 years of being with both Nintendo and Miyamoto, Genyo Takeda has officially retired from his position as a "Technology Fellow". He was well recognized of creating the Punch Out!! series, as well as being thanked by the staff at RARE for being featured in Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. We haven't commented on anything, so our only choice is to wish him luck and honor him for his hard work on both Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.

Nintendo Skips E3... THE FIFTH TIME

Well, I don't believe you're going to like this, but it appears that Nintendo announced that they will not be arriving at this year's E3 press conference. The fifth time, that is. Since 2013, the man who was responsible for his "unfitting" leadership, Satoru Iwata (mentioned by a Nintendo Enthusiast member) had been brutally criticized for lacking a series of real life press conferences shown at every E3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Wii U, alongside a bile duct growth was exactly the reason why it KO'd him into oblivion. And thus, he was sent away to somewhere I can't even explain. Unlike Sony nor Microsoft, Nintendo relies on those silly looking pseudo Direct like Digital Events that, based on my dragon mascot's opinion, aren't technically funny. Though, Robot Chicken and the Muppets were entertaining as well. Our only best bet is to predict the Treehouse. Not the Digital Event. This was stated during an interview with the Wall Street Journal that they will not plan to attend a press conference. We'll be talking about more information on E3 later this month.

Well, it's been a while, but the Daily Dragon Tab is back again. In case you don't believe me about what I've mentioned about the term "unfitting", I recommend on going to the link down below.

What did you all think of the NEW Nintendo 2DS XL? Are you planning to buy it or not? What are your wishes for Takeda-san's departure from Nintendo? Which E3 predictions are you looking forward to in Nintendo's future for E3? Make sure to sound off in the comment section, and let us know what you think from this Nintendo themed episode.

That's all for today's episode of the Daily Dragon Tab. This is Dera Mochimazzi, signing out. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm... (gets up from BlazR's chair) going back to what I'm known for: eating and being lazy. A thousand apologies if I haven't updated new episodes about it. See you next month!
