Now I can take the computer out of the open-air bench and put it into a proper case which will sit on the floor next to the desk. This will also allow me to use the stand my computer is presently on the way it was intended to be used, with the printer on top, the scanner on the bottom, and the middle shelf installed in its proper place to put my paper stack into.

And my gawd, this case is big. It's a mid-tower ATX Cooler Master. Nice heavy steel construction too. Even has a couple of 120mm fans already installed, and I have some extra fans to install as well, which will promise to make this into a really nice case for my compy.

PSU is bottom mounted, and since I'll be placing this directly onto a carpeted surface for now, I'm going to have to put the PSU in upside down so the intake fan faces upward. Better to have warm air from inside the case coming into it than almost no air, at least until I can get either a board or a decent rolling stand to put it on.

I'll be transferring the hardware into the new case later today.
