TLDR:
-Still not fixed. I’m making do with rentals if I require it.
-Insurance won’t cover it since it’s an engine wear & tear issue not related to my spin off the road. I’m left to deal with it by myself.
-Estimate to repair is pretty crazy. Almost, but not quite, to the level of possibly finding another car. But friends sourcing replacement parts for me to make the repair cost more manageable.
-It’s been stressful, definitely affected me this semester.
-Not going to let this change my plans for the year. “It’s merely a setback!”
