I swear, the SJW crowd that took over Tumblr is now taking over Twitter as well. I just got blocked by someone who believes that words by themselves are reason enough to punch people, because "OMG, they make me feel unsafe."

Do you know who else uses that line? Cops, who just gunned down innocent kids who looked at them the wrong way, that's who. Kid running away, showing their back to the cop, shot dead because the cop "felt threatened," and everybody rightly gets all into an uproar about how evil that cop is. But let some self-entitled "Liberal" brat kid attack someone who says words they don't want to hear and all of a sudden it's perfectly okay to physically attack them and use the same exact excuse that the cop used to justify murdering a kid who was running away from him.

No. Just fucking no. If it's wrong for the cop to do it, it's wrong for you to do it. Being liberal, or trans, or black, or whatever other minority group you're a part of does NOT give you free rein to do whatever the hell you want to people who say things you don't like. If you're not willing to hold back and walk away, don't you ever complain about cops who don't do it ever again, because if you do, then you are a motherfucking hypocrite and your opinion is not worthy of being heard.

It's like that woman who blocked me a couple months ago because I believe men who are accused of rape shouldn't be held to a different standard than literally every other person accused of a crime because "OMG, it makes women feel uncomfortable to have to prove that they're right in a court of law." Seriously, grow up. The law is the law is the law, you don't get to fucking customize it to conform with your personal agenda. If you accuse someone of a crime, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PROVE THAT THEY COMMITTED THE CRIME, no matter how uncomfortable or traumatic doing so may be. If you want that man behind bars, then you will prove he did it. If not, then tough day for you.

The fact that these people essentially want criminal behaviors legalized in situations that are convenient to them is telling. These people have absolutely no desire to be held accountable for the shitty things they do, and so they scream "Racism!" or "Sexism!" or "Black Lives Matter!" or "Patriarchy!" in the hopes of distracting people from the real issues here: your race, your gender, your identity, your religion, your political opinions, and/or your opinions about "scientific" controversies like human-induced climate change, do NOT give you the right to do whatever the hell you want to people who disagree with you. This is a civilized society, and you will be civil whether you want to or not. If I have to be civil, SO DO YOU. It's not racism or sexism, it's simple unfiltered reality.

And reality does not bow to your convenience.
