FUck Off InTerNetT by BarkerlooAndCity

I have to focus more on irl at the moment, I'm feeling mega stressed out with a lot of things, so sorry if my posts are here and there... I will try my best but honestly I have so much shit going on internet-wise that I seriously just do not need, not on top of the more important issues with family and college and a possible house move and a long distance relationship and...

Just internet, I need some space v-v

So don't expect to see TOO much of me around ;~;

    Good on ya, Bolty! *hugs tight* Real life should ALWAYS come first, and take up the bulk of your time. Get out there and LIVE! Care for your family. Build a future. And if you ever find yourself with a bit of spare time, say hi to your internet friends. We all understand real life comes first. Take as much time as you need. ;o)

      Thank you so much Belic, that's exactly what I wanted to hear ;v; *hugs big bear* A lot of the people I used to be friends with were immature, and thought that I should care about them more than I should care about people I've met and know in real life... It's why they aren't my friends anymore :U

    Psh I tend to just randomly disappear off the face of internet earth at times and not even care. RL things are more important so don't feel bad about taking time away. Just like Belic said (only they said it better cause I suck at type-talking. XD), we understand. ^-^

      Thank you Icey *hugs* I've become a lot less dependent on the internet as I've got older, with more things to worry about irl, it's just not really needed that much anymore.

        I never had internet much growing up so I still don't really need it all that much aside from online courses. Internet can make you stressed out easily. >.>

    We all have to realise what the world really is at some point. Mostly when it starts throwing shit at you for you to dodge, due to money wise, family issues, and so on with the list. Being on the internet is one way to avoid the world but we can't do it forever. We have to get out there and face our fears. I'm 21 right now (birthday was last Saturday) and still looking for work in hope to build myself up step by step to be able to move out. Companies seem to be looking for apprenticeships which you might be able to get into. But, even with crappy pay, you also learn and gain a qualification from it. Best do so before you're 24 as you won't get that chance again. However, everyone nowadays are looking for any job to take away from being on jobseekers. Even I'm fed up being on the bloody thing.

      I was thinking of taking an apprenticeship but none of the current ones appeal to me so I didn't apply - they focus all on engineering or hairdressing or just stuff I do not do ;-; Maybe if something in IT or design comes up, I could consider it - for now I just read the newspapers, and scour Gumtree and Directgov for some jobs in the hope my perfect vacancy will appear one day ;w;

        You could try administration? It's computer work and may somewhat be suitable for you. Plus, you get paid very nicely.

        Also, it's not the best bet to start looking for your dream job straight away. You have to slowly climb up the ladder by starting of doing the shitty jobs.

          Sounds about right, that's stuff like clerical work am I right? Sitting at a computer filling in forms, etc, for the nice pay ehehe

          Exactly, I was looking to literally get ANYTHING to start with just to have a reference, and move up the gravy train, as it were~

            Computer work that involves excel, word, powerpoint, outlook, photocopying, scanning, phone calls, etc.

            • Link

              That's something I can do ;w;

              • Link

                Then that is something you should look on getting into. Still computer work after all. C=

                  Anything that can get me a reference and lead me up to that desired fancy well paid tech job my parents keep telling me I'll have in the future ;w;

                    Yep and doing apprenticeship will help you, not just gaining experience, but a qualification as well.
