As I've mentioned in this journal I wouldn't start on commissions until all the slots are filled or if they take too long to fill. It's been over a week already since my first slot's been claimed, so I may begin working on them soon.

With that said, I will start working on one or both of them starting tomorrow evening or Saturday. However, with Christmas just around the corner and New Year's on deck, I don't know how much I'll get done. I still have one week left at work, and then I'll have a couple weeks free until I go back to college.

As for my submission to Roar 8, I have no clue if I'll get that done by the deadline by this point (Feb. 1st). I'll still work on that as well as much as I can; it sort of involves another story of mine that I would like to finish.

I do admit, I've been slacking quite a bit on my writing habits lately. I've slipped out of trying to write every day (or most days when I can) and have only managed to write on the weekends, if I don't have anything going on. Also, with the snow we've gotten the past couple weeks here, I've been a little weary about driving someplace else to go write. It's hard for me to write at home (dare I say impossible), and I'd have to go in the next city over just to find a place that's open late enough for me to write. There's nowhere I can go in my small town anymore where I can go write. Hopefully this won't become as much of a problem when I go back to school and start living with my boyfriend; I feel more at home there.

In other news, I recently joined the ranks of the Anthro Wrestling Federation (AWF) over on FA. No, you're not going to see this tiger get in any bouts; that's what I have Jamie for, haha. In any case, they are a wrestling RP group that, from what it sounds like, is on it's third revival right now. I've only RPed once a while back (nothing fighting related) and I usually don't RP in general. I also know little about wrestling and merely the basics. Thankfully Yarred, Ryl, Zander, Zeal, and Jeb have given me some great tips despite my uncertainty. And after chatting a bit in the group chat, both in character and out of character, I think I'm gonna like this group of guys ^^
