Ok well, now that I am on 3 sites, its time to compare them! :D

Site 1: FurAffinity

Oh FA, you're a darkhorse aren't you? And its no supprise its often reviled. Its primitive, its faulty, its power-hungry admins and unfair treatment of users.

Personally, FA is my main base of operations, but I still see the problems seeping through like mildew.

Also, I have a few personal issues with it:

1. Uploading writing is a pain. It doesn't have an easy way to upload clear text....why???????
   
2. Creepers gallore!
   
3. No tag filters!

Yeah overall FA needs more features. Also a clean up of all those creeps and troll accounts. Its actually one of the reasons I wanted to become an FA admin when they were holding a poll, to try and make a change, in any way I could, whether it would be banning a few of the hurtful trolls or creating a poll for filters and such...anything!

So yeah FA....meh, I'd give it 3/10, just getting points because I have met a lot of good people there.

Site 2: SoFurry.

Eeesh, had a bad time here I can tell you...but I'll try to be positive.

Positives:

-tag filters

-helpful staff...most of the time.

-more involved community

-more features

-easy to upload writing

Negatives (more personal here):

-layout may not be your thing

-its mostly adult stuff. Yeah around 75% of the content is shameless porn and yuck-material. And for me, it was boring. Really boring. And pretty isolating too, for a strictly clean artist and writer like me, I felt really alone.

-Hordes of people expecting adult contet. This for me was an issue, since I kept getting criticism for not doing anything adult.....well excuse me! Its my gallery, I can do whatever I want with it!

-Had a nasty experience. When I told the admins that someone was causing me grief and recieved no help, I started feeling helpless and tiny :(, I started discussing with my friends there about leaving...and when the admins caught wind of this, they got nasty.

So....maybe my experience with this site is a bit biased but, overall, I really didn't like the site.

If you can stomach the yiffy stuff and have a tough exterior, then I'm sure you'll do ok here

If you can't stand that side, keep away...you won't regret it.

I give Sf.....6.5/10

a 8/10 if you can stand the yiff

a 2/10 if you can't stand it, because, trust me, it is swimming in it and the admins and most people there are absorbed in it too.

Site 3 Weasyl

The most recent site I've joined, and probably the best :)

Postives:

-good layout

-same excellent features as SoFurry

-good staffing I hear

-gorgous art, its not limited to petty and poorly drawn yiff unlike SF.

-great seeing friends here too :D

negatives

-mmmm, can't think of any. Well I have been having trouble uploading stories, but it was more to do with my poor internet connection, doing something big like uploading can take a good strain on it. :O

Plus I'm not uploading any content until I get writing again.

So overall I'd give Weasyl a 9/10, a good, solid site ^^.
