Two Months of Updates! by RamTheDragon

Hello hello my furry friends, it's been a while since I actually sat down to write some life updates and whatnot, SO BRACE FOR ALL THE INFO EVER!

  • September was a super busy month, I had to check on some sheep at the research field of my university for my thesis, sounds easy right? Yeah they decided it would be a fantastic idea to give birth ALL THROUGH THE MONTH instead of clumping in one or two weeks. We kept going back and forth to this research station over and over. It was super cold and rainy as well, and IMPOSSIBLE to get warm inside the station. At least I got to horse ride a ton (even learnt how to saddle up a horse :D). The other issue was that pretty much half of the lambs we wanted to study died in some horrible way: eaten by foxes, died to the cold, abandoned by their mothers, ONE PREGNANT SHEEP FELL INTO A RIVER AND DROWNED, all sorts of horrible stuff...which means we are going to have to change the experiments because we simply have no more of those lambs :c But thesis work is almost done thankfully, only a few arduous days this month and I am doooone with my experimental work WOOP!

  • To top September off I had my first chance to be at an Artist Alley! It was the first time an event like this was held - a proper little art market with a bunch of different Uruguayan artists! And it WAS SO MUCH FUUUN! The artists were super talented and super chill, great atmosphere, I got a lot of praise for my work from people and sold a ton of stickers! I overprinted a liiiittle (a ton) and am offering some of the stock as Art Grab Bags if you're interested :D I am going to try to deal at bigger conventions here and already have a ton of ideas of what new things to make!

  • Because September was so busy I have been feeling super drained all through October, that being said I also started going to the university's public animal hospital to do practice hours. It's been really interesting! It's the only public animal hospital around it's where all the weird cases end up and you see all sorts of crazy stuff. I also started going to a private vet, to learn a bit more on how you actually deal with people, what normal vets work with, etc, etc. Really fun but super time consuming too hehehe.

  • I haven't been arting a lot because of the sheer volume of uni work I am doing right now but I can proudly say I FINALLY FINISHED ALL MY PATREON REWARDS FOR DRAGON RIDER. I am super embarassed that it took me almost a year to finish them all, but I am ultimately happy that I did it. That means the Patreon project is now neatly finished and I can move on with no guilt haha.

  • SUPER GREAT NEWS! REMEMBER THAT STOCK I HAD FROM THE ARTIST ALLEY? I OPENED A STORE! THE RAMSTORE! Basically I made a tiny online store to sell stickers and prints and anything else that I might come up with :3 Check it out HERE It even has a Uruguayan version for people here haha. You'll notice that there is a contact form in the check out - fill that up instead of checking out. Basically it's a way around Wix taking A HUGE cut of my profits and asking a lot of info of you and me.

  • AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST! I would like to invite you all to celebrate INTERNATIONAL CHEETAH DAY with me and Ken! :D International Cheetah Day is on Sunday December 4th and we are going to have a ton of activites in a huuuge 10 hour long stream which include In stream commissions, live auctions, raffles, games and much more! Learn more about it HERE and let all your friends know! Expect a lot of news on this event coming soon :3

I want to thank all my new watches, comments and favorites, thank you all for your incredible and continued support. Can't wait for a bit of a break in this hectic run to do a lot more art and have fun!
