Heyo! As one might imagine from the title, I'm ending the 24/7 commission form in December and going back to batches in 2017. Thank you all for your patience with this experimental new way of taking commissions, but in the end it just didn't work as planned.

Originally the issue was twofold - 1) taking on batches of commissions while also taking on slavestreams would mean the batches would take FOREVER to get to, and 2) folks were always coming to me upset that they weren't around or had ideas/money whenever I opened; many suggested to just kind of always be open. I'm not a big fan of making folks wait for months or something on a commission. Thus, I devised to take on few commissions at once and leave the form open so people could always submit commission requests and I'd contact them when ready. It would solve both my paranoia and people's requests!

This didn't really work. As many of you I'm sure noticed, it still took FOREVER to get to folks' submissions, oftentimes months. They hadn't paid for them yet, sure, but very often I'd not get a reply back or they were no longer interested/able to go along with the commission anymore. This would just take too much time trying to fill out my queue more often than not. What's worse, the vast majority of folks who'd suggested this style of taking on commissions either were continuously unaware that I was indeed open for commissions, or never even attempted to get one. In short, this experiment failed on all fronts. Again, I thank you all for being patient and letting me try this out over the past year, but its just clear that taking on a set amount in batches and then opening up again later is largely what everyone is much more used to. I'll just have to swallow my pride and accept that with slavestreams, its VERY likely that commissions may take some time to get to.

SO YEAH, TLDR: I'm opening up commission slots in batches of a set amount again starting in January and ditching the 24/7 open form. More details to follow, I'll give you guys decent advance notice whenever I open up. If you've got any questions, feel free to ask.
