Today I served at the altar for the first time in 2 weeks, but things went downhill.

I began to feel bloated and gassy first of all, though that isn't unusual for me. What was unusual was the level of pain in my belly and back and the slight shortness of breath.

I began to sweat profusely and feel overheated even though it wasn't that hot in the chapel.

Then I felt the nausea. It grew and grew until my vision began to gray out, I retched and nearly collapsed.

I had to sit out the rest of the mass in choir. I felt a little better for a while but I still felt exhausted enough to cancel a stop along the way home.

Now after about 4 hours of sleep, my chest feels tight and I feel very tired. I sincerely hope this wasn't a silent heart attack.
