Hey everyone. I'm long overdue on an update journal for you all, I apologize for that. I've mostly been plugging away at commissions, working on personal projects and patreon, and prepping for Furpocalypse at the end of the month. I'd like to keep to posting one journal a week or so, and I'm going to do my best to actually follow through on that.

Commissions
After trying out this style of commission taking for the last few months, where I put names into a pool and draw from it, I'm thinking it's not quite working. While it does eliminate the unfairness of first come first served, it also creates the problem of people not knowing exactly when they're going to need to suddenly pay when they get picked. I've decided that I'm going to go through each name that was submitted from the last time and finish everything up, then stop doing this sorta convoluted pool method. I'll let you all know what changes I make when I get ready to open for new clients.

I have one active commission currently that I'm finishing up before Furpoc, then I'm sure I'll have take-home work from there. After that's all settled, I'll be contacting the above users in that order and finishing the commissions up one at a time. Once those are done, I'll post a journal and let you all know how I'm taking commissions (it'll be a simpler method).

Convention Update
I will be at Furpocalypse, as I mentioned, and will also be in the dealer's den. I'm also going to have stuff in the art show for the first time, which I'm super nervous about. I hope people like what I bring :s Anything that doesn't sell in the show will be made available to bid on afterwards, probably using Furbuy or something similar. I'll be posting the little Furpoc Meme later on with more personal details about my con plans.

Besides Furpoc, I'll also be attending ANE in... January I think it is? I'm in the dealer's den there, too.

I've finished the fluids study pack! I learned a lot about water and other liquidy goods, and will be posting the many fruits of my labor as I complete them. I haven't decided on my next study topic yet, and I probably won't be delving into it until November.

Personal
And then I guess there's how I'm doing, too. Things have been really hectic, but overall I'm doing pretty well. I was sleeping very poorly for a while, but I switched taking my meds from before bed to in the morning, and that seems to have done the trick, thank goodness. I've been spending time with friends, and doing more streaming lately. I have plans to start doing stream commissions again soon. I also started knitting, now that the weather's turning cooler. I always forget just how much I love that hobby! I'm making a nice wool cowl to help keep me warm (my house gets incredibly cold).

I think that about does it. I'm going to settle in and start uploading this backlog of drawings. Prepare yourselves for the inbox onslaught.
