one thing that makes me a bit grumpy by spoonface

Misleading thumbnails! Especially when I check character profiles and the full image is entirely different from the thumbnail and especially when the artist of said thumbnail image isn't stated anywhere :T

Know what, I'm kind of dreading what creative uses for thumbnails people might think of come first of April.

Yeah I'm with you on that one. I do occasionally use a thumbnail image different from the actual image when it comes to my character profiles, but considering I'm the artist of both images... yeah. When it's obvious the artist and the actual owner of the character are different but there's no link to the artist it's a little annoying...

...Oh god don't say that. It didn't even occur to me until now.

I do hope that people will be able to upload more images to a character profile in the future? That'd be sweet. Now defunct Furpaws had the feature that you could link already submitted images to characters, which was pretty neat.

ANYWAY called it before it happens.

Oh greesh. One of the first things I thought when I started using this thing was how annoying the thumbnails would be, since the ability to make them is built right into the system and seemingly encouraged. I must think: Is there more to this picture, or is it just a face? Is the pose interesting, or is it bland? Is the setting interesting? Is there a setting at all? Is there going to be something absolutely horrible inside that I would never have chosen to enlarge had I gotten a better idea of the content in advance? The last point can be particularly annoying as I know at least one person who marks every submission as "mature" regardless of the content.

It still won't be as bad as the glory deviant art days, when people would habitually use custom thumbnails that just said "FULL VIEW" on them.
