Yeahhh that's the problem with Weasyl. It seems like it's 1000x harder to get recognition than FA, and it really impacts the drive to stay active. It seems like Weasyl is like, an art-dump site that after everyone throws all their art they just immediately run pack to FA or any other site. Where as other sites, such as FA, have people who are watchers/followers, Weasyl seems to be full of people who are "solely" artists.
It's a shame, too! I really like Weasyl, and its features! I wish it was more active.
