Need to rest and get recovered. I've got work to do.

Agenda (in no particular order):
*Contact voc rehab. Work that angle. Try to either get a job or disability.

*Finish this Britannica thing. They sent me a draft and asked me to write a bio for myself. This will be a turning point for me as a historian since it'll be my first academic work to actually see publication AFAIK (my once-over of that medieval manuscript hasn't materialized online yet).

*Make some edits to "Steel Clouds" and get it ready for another round of contests. Submit it to the contests I missed the deadlines for and the ones that allow revised versions of previously-submitted material.

*Re-apply for grad school. The Britannica gig will help a lot. I need to do a CLEP test for Spanish still.

*Get cracking on my theological studies. I can still make priesthood in 5 years if I really put some effort into it!

*Finish "The Linen Butterfly."

*Get this apartment cleaned finally.

Also... I'm cautious about doing this, but I've run the numbers and I might be able to afford to take the HEMA classes I've had my heart set on. At least, I'll certainly be able to take a class or two to try it out and see if it's really for me. If I enjoy it, I'll use it as an excuse to get active at least once a week. This is a good adjunct to my studies in medieval history.

Too much work to spend a great deal of time feeling sorry for myself. I had a life before Wal-Mart (in some ways, I had more of a life than I did while I was working there) and it's time to reclaim it in a big way.
