Sooo, I have recently been to and returned from GalaCon, cought up with all the sleep and rest I needed and I just wanted to use to occasion to say a few things.

When I was at GalaCon I went as a Vendor again, selling all kinds of merchandise in the Dealers Den. For the first time I had no fellow artist friends with me but brought along Serpkah as my assistant, and honestly he did an absolutely terrific job! Thanks so much for helping! <3
I don't know why, but for some reason I got a LOT more customers than I did last year. So many people that came and talked to us, and made me compliments about my art... Honestly, the love that I felt over there was overwhelming, I never had so many people praise me like that before. I also got a shit ton of sketch commission requests during the weekend, so many that I actually had to turn a few people down during the last few hours and some others I had to ask for their e-mail because I couldn't finish theirs in time. It was a lot of hard work, but in the end it was all worth it. <3

I just wanted to write this journal to thank everybody SO MUCH who came by our table, and especially those who stuck around for a few minutes to talk to us! Like I said earlier, I appriciated every single nice thing you said about me and my art, I'm not usually used to that kind of feedback! <3 The ammount of love I felt during the weekend was really incredible and I feel like it's hard to put into words without repeating myself over and over again.
So basically I just wanted to give everyone a HUUUGE Thank You on my part, you really made my week and probably even the coming months. <333

Also I wanted to use this journal as an opportunity to say that I am, in fact, still alive. Due to all the work I had to get done for GalaCon, I wasn't really able to do much else. I really hope I'll be able to do some other things than preparing merchandise again until November, mostly because I also have a bazillion unfinished projects on my mind and on my desktop. orz
My real life hasn't really changed much, still looking for a job, still can't figure out why nobody wants to hire me. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Apparently people are fine with hiring me for certain projects, but not keeping me as a permanent employee. I've just been freelancing my way through life so far, so if you know anyone in need of a graphic designer, feel free to tell them about me. \o/
