Lack of non-comic art, art prioritizing by Meg James

I wanted to apologize for the lack of art recently! It's not that I haven't been drawing, but actually it's just that most of what I'm doing right now is comics rather than stand-alone drawings. This is why I'm starting to upload previous comic pages to Weasyl.

I'll try to make more time for both comics and other art, but the amount of time I have really depends on my work schedule. It's part-time, but how part-time kinda varies from week to week. Anyway, I need as many hours from that as I can, since it's my main source of $$$, so unfortunately art has to go around it.

Here's how I prioritize things:
1. Commissions
2. Comics
3. Personal art of any kind

When I get commissions, of course, they come before everything else. But that admittedly doesn't happen a lot. (I am literally always open, though, if you're interested! Info here)

After that, I tend to go for comics since they have clear deadlines. Vanguard updates on a schedule of every other friday, and I have another short one I'd like to start pushing out in December.

Personal art... eh? After everything else, there isn't always time. But I'll work on it and see if I can make time more often. Maybe I should apply deadlines to this, too, and it might seem more urgent.

If anyone has suggestions, specifically on how to generate more hours in a day (or a way to simulate this effect), please feel free to share!
