Wow, what... am I doing? by RathMutatio
So, like... I'm done with all my commissions. For real. Backlog is gone. All current commissions, done. All I got are personal projects. I am free to do what I want!
So why do I feel so... empty?
Like I don't have anything productive to do. Hah. I thought once I had all that out of the way it would be smooth sailing, and while I DO have stuff I could do, dunno... wish I had more of you dears telling me what to do! I can work on some comics, work on my video-game, but working for myself feels... really boring.
Not sure if people are staying away cos they find my work boring or if my prices are too high... or something else. I wanna do the best for you guys.
What do you all think? How can I make things more interesting for everyone? (And myself?)

I think you should try three or four pieces of totally mainstream vanilla stuff. Like the most dry toast thing you can think of and draw that

Personally love your work! I wish I had all the money in the world to spend on all the artists I love... unfortunately, I have bills and such! I was excited to see you open for comms, but was immediately sad because I just had to get my car inspected x.x

(though, to be honest, I am not sure if you would even like to draw any of my characters... if you see any in my character gallery that you like, let me know and I will see about getting something of them if I can afford to/you are still open next paycheck in a couple weeks)

I'm usually up for drawing just about anything. Your characters look pretty neat. So don't be shy.

Maybe just open up for like, 3 commissions every so often? Finish those 3 commissions casually then see what else you want to do - keep going, do more, start personal projects, etc, etc.

We'll have to see. I don't want to have a bunch of commissions waiting every again. Rather take one at a time.

Yeah that's what I mean. If you're free now, just take some commissions every time you want to, and make sure to finish them, rather than having to panic about getting too many because you 'need money'
