denver comic con report kinda. by kestral

Con was awesome! Decided it was worth doing the photo ops this year -meant less time in the dearer area lol- and best Score is the Stan Lee picture. ah such a good con hoping to do it again next year depending on situation lol, but Bucket List has a couple check marks in it which was meeting Stan Lee, and also John Rhys Davies and Terry Brooks even got a signature X3.

spotted Quiet/Shy? I have pics I'll have to plop them somewhere lol, Jinx, the toxic tigers and ones that Ritzbitz told me who they were but I can't remember lol. edited to ad that I also found wintersoul and got the halloween cat pendent :3

here's a link to what pictures I've taken during con. my costume was literally me in my ears, tail, arm warmers, and leg fuzzies with various hot topic dresses because we went to finish an idea for one day of con and ended up with them XD. Had extremely positive response to the mixing of the costumes/fandoms. funniest part was when we realized there was an Ivy bombshell dress that fit me, but not my sister and she had to go for the red hood bombshell dress XD.

I'm so glad you got to meet and get a photo with Stan Lee! He had to cancel a number of conventions in the past year.......so that's a great score! :)

yeah Stan says that this is his last year doing conventions and i'm not surprised he canceled some. by the end of sunday he was still signing, and leaning heavily on his assistant.

You really got a great treasure there! :)

I hope that by taking off from the conventions he can better his health and still be able to create things for the fans. He needs to take care of himself, too. But he is a wonderful creator who has cared about his fans for many decades. It's so rare in the comic book industry. :)
