Finally, my kind of dystopian world by Aldin

Well the background premise anyway. There some new indie/art house film out called The Lobster, which I have no plans of going to see. After reading through a summary of the plot, I'm not interested. Except for the background premise. In this world, you are expected to have a partner/mate. If you don't have one by a specific age, you're rounded up and brought to "The Hotel". You have 45 days to find a partner among the others in the Hotel. Failing that, you're transformed into the animal of your choice and released into the wild. Also, should you divorce or outlive your partner you're brought back to The Hotel and again, have 45 days to find a new partner. The protagonist of the film has requested to be turned into a lobster if he fails to find a partner.

So, 15 years ago (ie back when I was single), I'd have said, "Do I really need to go through the waiting period?" }:3 Obviously, this film wasn't made with furries in mind.

Finally, my kind of dystopian world
