Hello hello!
So in the utter amount of NON SURPRISE that is FA shitting the bed again, I figured as I'm active I'd give you all some updates about where you can find me that isn't riddled with holes as big as the moon (at least, we hope).

    Do you find that Furry Network has a really awkward layout?
    I keep getting confused by it.

    I do like most of the changes done here since the last time I have visited.

      Yeah the UI on FN is not exactly super intuitive or user-friendly, at least author-side. Needs a lot of work. I tried uploading some art today, and that was an adventure. There are some nice advantages to the way they've set stuff up (draft artwork that you can edit into published artwork) but the system needs a lot of refining to make it easy to use. That said, the site is really great for the casual browser. We'll see where it goes.

      Honestly the thing that keeps me from here the most is the sheer number of submissions in my inbox haha! It gets intimidating. I need to prune my watch list I think.

        I have had trouble uploading some of my larger commissions on FN. Have you had the same issue?

          There are max dimensions and a file size limit, I believe, as well as JPG and PNG restrictions (alas, animated GIF icons, we knew ye well). Because I save my "to-post" artwork for the web, I haven't had this issue because the image and file sizes are much smaller. If you have Photoshop, try using the "Save for Web" option to save a separate version for upload.

            That's not the issue I had - but the issue seems to have fixed itself. So I don't know. Also, nose meep! MEEP!

                It will be interesting to see how well FN fares in the long run. Hopefully it becomes more user friendly.

      Yeah it's def more "social media hub" than it is "gallery site"...? I dunno, it's still in beta, so hopefully they're still improving things.

        Actually, honestly, I'd be perfectly cool with just using e-mail too. Which reminds me I need to get contact info for an artist who'll hopefully be streaming tomorrow, and I need to get her info BUT she takes it over FA notes sooooooooo...

    Hoping to see more activity here and in the future. Would love to see weasyl grow. I tried FN, and even as a commissioner/social person... I abhor the layout. It is truly awful :/

      Yeah... I was looking through their Twitter this morning and they actually have some pretty cool features, but good luck getting to them if you didn't see them demonstrated. 9_9
